TMO is located along Route 150 in Bellefonte, Pa. Bellefonte is just south of Routh 80 in Central Pa. Central Pa. has many different waterways and state park lakes that are ideal for canoeing and kayaking. Class II Red Moshannon Creek is a great stream to hone your whitewater paddling skills. The West Branch of the Susquehanna River offers 50 some miles of remote canoe camping as it cuts its way through the mountains of Central Pa. The Bald Eagle Creek below Bald Eagle State Park has adequate water levels all summer and makes for a great afternoon canoe or kayak outing for beginners as well as the more experienced. Black Moshannon State Park, Bald Eagle State Park, Colyer Lake, Poe Valley State Park, and Whipple Dam State Park are a few of the state parks and recreational lakes that are good places to enjoy some time on the water.
